Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Coordinator to join our software development team at Kakkanadu, Kochi. As a Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of software development projects within scope, schedule, and budget. The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership abilities, strong communication skills, and a proven track record of successfully managing projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the planning and implementation of software development projects from initiation to closure.
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets to effectively manage resources and timelines.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and quality assurance engineers, to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Monitor project progress and performance metrics, identifying and addressing any issues or risks that may arise.
  • Communicate project status, updates, and changes to stakeholders and senior management regularly.
  • Conduct post-project reviews to evaluate outcomes, identify lessons learned, and implement process improvements.
  • Foster a collaborative and results-driven team environment, providing guidance and support to team members as needed.
  • Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve project management processes.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field. 
  • Proven experience (1-2 years) in project management, preferably within the software development industry.
  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies, such as Agile, Scrum, or Kanban.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Solid organizational and time management abilities, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and softwares.
  • Experience working in a client-facing role, managing client expectations, and resolving conflicts diplomatically.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and requirements in a fast-paced environment.
